WHAT IS COGNITIVE HYPNOTHERAPY?

Cognitive hypnotherapy is a modern approach based on recent discoveries from neuroscience.

It draws on a range of therapies and utilises the best techniques taken from Neuro-Linguistic Programming (NLP) traditional hypnotherapy, regression, Emotional Freedom Technique (EFT) and coaching.

Problems can arise after a negative experience, which often occur in early childhood. Cognitive hypnotherapy’s aim is to go back to the root cause of a problem and reframe the experience, freeing you to move forward in your life.

WHAT HAPPENS IN A SESSION?

During the first session I will endeavour to get to know you and discuss your issues fully. Together we will create a case history to enable me to get a thorough understanding of your problem. Based on this information, I will create a personal treatment programme, tailored to your needs.
You will receive an audio recording (Wordweaving), which includes a relaxation induction, and a series of positive suggestions, based on your solution state, for you to listen to daily.
You will be encouraged to use a therapy log to record your thoughts and development between sessions.
I offer continued support in between sessions, via email.
